DEE pays Tribute to Graduates through Testimonial Program

The CEAT Lecture Hall was filled with DEE graduating students, faculty and staff on August 2, 2023 as the department paid tribute and recognition to the new graduates. Our current department chair, Asst. Prof. Roderick L. Catriz, gave inspiring words of wisdom to prepare the new graduates as they embark on a new journey in their careers.

The graduating class also heard encouraging words from the guest speaker, a DEE alumna from Class 2017, Engr. Johanna Gwenn T. Lomaad, who spoke about what to expect once they start working and how they could prepare themselves for the challenges they were to face in the real world outside the four walls of the classroom. Selected faculty members including Asst. Prof. Gabriela Monica M. Gonzales, Engr. Rock Christian V. Tomas, and Engr. Christian Paul R. Esteban also gave their pieces of advice to the new graduates.

Finally, the DEE and CEAT Class 2023 valedictorian, Timothy Regienald R. Zepeda, culminated the event with his speech of gratitude to everyone who helped him reach this pinnacle of his academic life and ended his talk with words of encouragement to his fellow graduates.
