DEE visits SolarAce1; areas of collaboration discussed

Faculty members of the Department of Electrical Engineering and College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology Associate Dean Dr. Marion Lux Y. Castro visited SolarAce1 Energy Corp. in Alaminos, Laguna last October 26, 2022.

DEE Chair Asst. Prof. Roderick L. Catriz, together with Curricular Implementation and Instruction head Asst. Prof. Genev Yesiree R. Garcia, Student Industry Immersion head Asst. Prof. Lorwin Felimar B. Torrizo, Linkages and External Affairs head Asst. Prof. Kim Jay R. Rosano and committee members Asst. Prof. Gabriela Monica M. Gonzales, Engr. Jonathan Q. Intal, and Engr. Edward Joseph H. Maguindayao met with what would become Alaminos Solar, an Ayala company. They conducted a tour of the facilities and held a dialog for potential academe-industry linkage such as research and internship.
